A self-proclaimed U.S. history buff, stats enthusiast, and rabid fan of anything Detroit (yes, even the Lions), Awesemo started playing daily fantasy sports in 2013 and never looked back.
After graduating with a degree in mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis in 2008, he began developing advanced statistical models and applied his unique skill-set first to poker, then as a full-time DFS player.
He has since dominated DFS, becoming a fixture on leaderboards and cementing his position as the top-ranked overall player according to RotoGrinders. Competing in most guaranteed prize pool tournaments, he has ranked in the top 3 across major sports, including NBA, NFL, NHL, PGA, and MLB. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of fantasy sports with new and experienced players alike.
– #1 RotoGrinders Overall Ranking: 2017, 2018
– 25x FanDuel/DraftKings $100,000 winner
– 20x Live Final qualifier
Jumping into the world of daily fantasy sports can feel overwhelming. When I first started playing in 2013, I wasn’t sure how to develop my own models from scratch. But after researching fantasy concepts, I realized that even a rudimentary understanding of statistics and optimization processes would give me a huge advantage over the average player.
The level of play in DFS has become more competitive in recent years, yet the quality of content has stagnated. To go beyond average, you need a more methodical approach, but it’s hard to know where to start. The information is scattered, and there’s little direction on how to interpret the data.
I created Awesemo.com to change that.
Through Awesemo.com, I will share insightful rankings, projections and strategic information to help you build more competitive lineups. While I can’t guarantee you’ll dethrone me as the top-ranked player, I can guarantee content that will mirror my own projections and lineups (unless explicitly stated) and will cut down your hours of research each week.
My ultimate goal is to help die-hard sports fans have a more rewarding and sustainable experience playing fantasy sports. Awesemo.com will be your one stop shop for a comprehensive and entertaining breakdown of the information you need to approach DFS more strategically.
Thanks for stopping by and good luck!
