This article is from our newest contributor, WNBA DFS expert Seth Stinehour aka Seth1374 aka EMac’s biggest fan. Really excited to have him writing for our site!

This is an interesting showdown slate between a horrible Chicago team visiting Washington, a title contender. Vegas has not published the line, but I expect Washington be favored by 10 or so.  Additionally, Chicago is a team I generally support stacking against. If this was a three-game slate I would write that you should play two Mystics in all your lines.

Normally I would say ignore the possibility of the blow out except during their first game Chicago was blown out by 30 and nobody played more than 20 minutes. The next game was close and all the starters for Chicago went over 30. To further illustrate this point, the last game Washington played they blew out their opponent and EDD played 20 minutes.

On the Chicago side, Allie Quigley shot blazing hot last game. Washington is a different animal than Seattle coming off the back-to-back, so I’m going to let people chase Quigley. I prefer Diamond Deshields or Courtney Vandersloot who are less shooting dependent. DeShields is safer in a blow out being the younger player. Jantel Lavender started last game and is way too cheap on DK and I would lock her there. On FD at 8k I would just as soon pass.

I kind of like Stefanie Dolson here: she has had big games the coach is giving her big minutes, an elite DFS stat line could be coming. Gabby Williams only got nine minutes last game, but I could see her getting 20, especially if the game blows out. She’s a nice GPP play. If you want to play the blow out, Chloe Jackson is who you want back up point guard. I think they want to see what they have but I would not do that until the 10th lineup.

Washington plays everybody tough though. On FD 4-1 and DK 4-2 or 5-1 constructions are what I would run. Elena Delle-Donne is by far the favorite to be the highest scorer on this slate it’s hard to come up with an argument for anybody else.

After that I like Natasha Cloud and LaToya Sanders prices on FD specifically.  I will say I am not a big Kristi Tolliver fan in possible blowout games and with her coming off an injury, she is my least favorite Mystic. Emma Meesseman is firmly in play off the bench, and Shatori Kimborough’s price tag renders her unplayable. Aerial Powers is back from the injured list for this game, my guess is she gets 15 minutes or so.

She is a fantasy point per minute producer and she can put DFS points up in a hurry If you are MMEing you should play her, because at 5k she might be the best value play on FD where pricing is tight.

Possible Captains: EDD, Cloud, Tolliver, Sanders, Atkins (sense a pattern) DeShields and Vandersloot or the only 2 Chicago players I would consider for captain.

Value: Powers is 1k on DK and 5k on FD she makes the magic happen, and 5k on FD.  Sanders, Cloud and Dolson are too cheap on FD, while Lavender and Dolson are too cheap on DK.

Just remember, what EMAC’s mom told him after he struck out in Little League, “Son, you suck just keep the stats.”  And we’ve all been paying for that advice ever since.

I've been obsessed with fantasy sports since as long as I can remember. Back in 1993, while seated in the last row of Mr. MacMillan's math class, I'm fairly certain a few buddies of mine and I invented daily fantasy sports -- popping down our fivers and using nothing more than a newspaper box score, we'd make our NHL player picks for the night's action. Twenty years later I started out playing DFS on DraftStreet, when three-max tourneys with 490 people were a big deal, and I've been hooked ever since. More than anything, I'm interested in getting better as a player, and in helping you become a better player. Armed with Awesemo's grades and the projections from our experts, we're here to help you take the next step. You can contact me by emailing support@awesemo.com.
